 Click to view full-size. Francis Corrall 30 Hour Longcase Grandfather Clock c1740 This clock was purchased from a family in California in late 2023 and required almost no adjustments when delivered. The case is Mahogany which was typically used in mid to late 1700s Longcase clocks. I has a chain drive mechanism, a single 9.5lb weight which operates the hour bell and time, 11 inch dial, small lead weight on the rewind chain and large 4in 2lb pendulum. The size is 79" x 20" x 9" and a functioning date calendar. |
