Richard Stonehouse 30 Hour Grandfather Wall Clock c1750

This Clock Face and mechanism were originally in a Longcase Grandfather Clock (case is long gone) but I have turned it into a wall clock. One of the unique features of the clock is that it has a rope drive which was common with mid 1700s clocks. It has a single hour hand which was also normal for the time period. The clock uses a single 9lb weight for the chime and time, a 1.5lb pendulum and I made a wooden cover to keep out the dust. The dial is 10.5in and a functioning date calendar.
